When it comes to meeting software installation requirements, each host and server configuration can vary depending on the provider. In most cases, our software will run on any hosting or web server that meets the minimum requirements listed below without any additional configuration changes. On occasion, minor modifications may need to be made in order to enable certain features that are supported but not turned on. PHP Requirements
SunShop requires PHP 5.6 or to PHP 7.4. PHP 7.4 is currently recommended. The additional PHP libraries listed below are also recommended.
GD Library: Image Resizing
OpenSSL: Credit Card Encryption
PDO MySQL: Database
MbString: String Functions
MySQL / MariaDB Requirements
SunShop requires MySQL support to store data. SunShop is compatible with MySQL versions from 5.1 and later. The latest version of MySQL or MariaDB is recommend.
Web Hosting
If you do not currently have hosting, please see our hosting recommendations list. Please note the “SunShop On Demand” service is hosted on our compatible servers and no additional configurations are needed.
